Number 221: A Converbilator |
A Converbilator Verbisauroid converbulist Mature male pictured, about 5' when walking upright, scaly skin, green with a frock coat and tie. Another of the Verbisauroid group of grammasites, the Converbilator is not dangerous and really quite beneficial to the BookWorld. It lives by converting nouns and other words into verbs, mostly by appending ize but sometimes by a direct conversion, such as knife, lunch and question. During a noundrought they have been known to create compound verbs such as air-condition, and signpost. Usually polite and quiet forgetful, a converbilator spends its time hanging around dictionaries and contemporary fiction. They breed for life, but don't enjoy it much. Hobbies: Stamp Collecting. |
