Devised and managed by Wilbur and Orville Next using their father' Mycroft's technology , the chain had a brief and profitable career until enforced closure when Mrs Enid Worthing, booked in for the removal of every single recollection of her disasterous holiday in the Crimea, was accidentally uploaded with the unwanted memories of 72 one -night stands, numerous drunken evenings and almost a thousand episodes of 'Name That Fruit' .
