This 'one minute signing' actually took about two hours, with breaks - the highest rate I can sustain is about one signature every six seconds, timed over three thousand books, and including breaks, stops, leaks, etc.

Any author who claims they can do a thousand legible signatures in less than a single uninterupted clock hour is a fibber.
