We know it's Spring when the peacocks start yelling and displaying. Interesting Peacock fact: Becasue the colour factory involved in the irridiscent tail is by an entirely different method to the colour on, say a tomato, you can't photograph their tails. Film (particualry slide) is closest, but the gamut on a computer screen is far too narrow.

Kingfishers share this irridescenece and some butterflies, beetles and soap bubbles. Some things have to be seen for real.. Wales, 2011
