The Great* Bookstack Giveaway *I think this might be a relative term

Phew. My lockdown haircut is starting to grow back. This is me in a self-portrait on large Format Polaroid 55 - and a stack of books that I'd like to giveaway. Anyone interested?

Part of being an author is that you get sent books. Other people's books for a blurb, spare books from publishers that they think I might have an interest - and your own books. I usually get a couple when a new edition is out, or a new printing, or just random stock. Well, they start to mount up and although we sell signed paperbacks over at Goliath, it made more sense to clear the shelves of tomes that came free to me, free to you. Basically, just email jasper(at)jasperfforde.com with the code number of the book and the address of a friend and I'll send it to them. All I ask is that you donate a nominal $20 or £20 or Euro20 (I think they're all worth about the same, now) or less if you're a bit short - or not at all if you're short-short. Don't send the donation to me, give it to your local foodbank. Or the equivalent in tins. There's no real rules other than it's one per person, and I guess I'll send anywhere on the planet, but if you do that, make sure you increase your donation accordingly. I'll sign it to whoever you want with 'This is for so-and-so from such-and-such, stay healthy' and then signed by me. As soon as they've gone they've gone, so I'll try and update this webpage as we go along so you know what's still available. Stay healthy, be smart, Jasper

All gone now, but many thanks to everyone who joined in - by adding up the pledges (Some gracious folk donated £100 and a couple in the US have pledged their entire stimulus check - but would have done so anyway, irrespective of me, I'm thinking.)
