It's early spring here in Wales, and the daffs are out. Only here in the hills, the flowers, temperature dependent, bloom according to height and micro-climate. Those exposed bloom later, those in sheltered areas earlier. After a grey and often miserable winter, they are a joyous splash of colour to herald the new season. Taken on large format film and colourised in photoshop; the notch you can see top left is used to orientate the film in the camera so the light-sensitive side faces the subject.
