Albino Peacock unaware he is
different from other peacocks

Albino peacock Colin was yesterday said to be still confused as to why the peahens favoured other peacocks. "It's very odd" Colin is reported to have said, "I do all the displaying stuff when the totty comes round, stamp my feet and shiver my plummage, yet they all seem to pass me by."

The lovelorn Peacock, who is complelty without the usual colourful irridescence that are the benchmark of the species due to a genetic abnormality, lives otherwise peacefully in a Sydney zoo. A peahen who wished to remain anonymus told us:

"Don't get me wrong, I like Colin as a friend but something about him just isn't quite right - don't ask me what. Phwooah!!! Look at that peacock over there - I'm going to walk around near him and appear disintersted. Excuse me."
